the circus

We went to the circus last night!   Chris and I took all our nieces and nephews and my dad! It was amazing!  I have been to the circus before but usually sit up on the top.  Chris and I talked about how when we are usually up in the rafters it is a bit overwhelming!  You do not know what to look at so you try to look at everything!  And it is just overload!  We all just LOVED it this time! 

I of course cried a bit!  We were in the third row!  And we just felt like a part of the circus!  The feeling it gave us!!!!  AMAZING!  My whole family, no matter the age could not believe how fun and exciting and just wonderful it was up in the front!  Like I said, we had been many times before but in the rafters!

 

Moral of the story!  I have never been able to pay for seats like that!  And we were able to take all the kids and my dad!  To be there with everyone was so fun! BC continues to make the life we live a amazing adventure! 

To be 15 feet from the elephants!  To be able to see the teeth of the tigers as they snarled at the trainer!  OH!!! and the tight rope walker were like straight up in the air, in front of our seats!    I remember being up in the rafters and looking down at the tight rope walkers!  This time we were looking up!  Totally COOL!!!

The songs were all about you can do what you want to do!  IT IS SO TRUE!!!  Please do not forget that with your BC!!!  And when you wonder why you do BC.. find your nearest circus and sit in the front rows!  Pay for the ticket to sit there with your BC income!  and you will remember why you do BC!

 

Grab your ATM bag and go do a spa and buy ticket for your family with money from that spa!  BUT better yet… change others lives today!!!  Tell all the ones you see this weekend about what they too can experience with BC!  Experiences like going to the circus with the family, they love so much having the time of their lives!!!

Asphalting

Hi,

Just wanted to share what I have been doing for the last two days!  I have been working with my family!  What I so love about BC, as you all know, is I can help my family when they need me!  I truly work a second job in the summer!  Some weeks it is 50 to 60 hours in a week!  And I do BC! Put my third recruit in today!  Last Thursday  I worked a 16 hour day!!!  This is not your normal work!  It is unreal what we have to do!  Someday I should shot video!

 

SOOO moral of the story. you can do what you have to do!  You can work your tail off at a full time job and do BC!  And have a life!  BC is my passion as you all know!  I have to asphalt!  but I am grumpy when I asphalt!  Really bucky as I like to say!!  Chris let’s me!  So that is cool!

I love BC because it truly get to do what I want and need to do for me!  it fills my bucket to work with all of you!  what a amazing career that you can’t wait to open your eyes and share what you do with others! 

 

You know studies show we will live longer because we love our careers!  So the reasons to do BC go on and on!!
My hope for you today is that you do not have to do a job that leaves you bucky and grumpy!!!

Hi Everyone,

Once again today… I am so grateful to be a BC Consultant!  I get to do work when I want and how long in a day I want too!  My life and my family gets to come first and then I get to do my BC career around my life!  I am reminded today of how important that is!

Hunter lost another school mate today in death!  The young man was in his first block class!  Hunter was able to call me from school and then come home and then be with me today!  There were not a lot of words but we got to be together. So that, as he needed me, I was right here!

Tomorrow I will go drive the truck, that the family need me to drive!  I really do not like to do the truck but I know it is very important to Chris and the boys that I help the asphalt crew!  So because of the flexible career I have, I can do what I need to do for the family!  Tomorrow it is drive  the truck!  Today it was be home to be with Hunter!

Thank you BC for letting me live the life I love!!  I love my life because of the career that does not care if I put my family first!  My wish is that other Mom’s would be able to have a wonderful career like I have and be able to help the kids when they need help!  Not missing a minute to be with them and look into their eyes to make sure they were ok! 

Too many Mom’s do not get to do that and then lose their sons!

Never forget what you have to offer all Mom’s!!  NEVER forget it please! Share what you have with all Mom’s! 

Hug your kids today!  Because you can!

Hi Everyone!
Chimene Ross was here this weekend in Iowa!  She is my cousin’s wife as some of you know.  So Saturday through Monday she came to hang as a relative, but on Monday at 10 we did a director meeting clear until 9 pm last night when the last of the VIPs left!

She spoke to our VIP’s last night at our VIP party!  AMAZING!!! We did a bit of dreaming and we talked about commitment.  I want to ask you this a.m. to think about this…

What is your commitment to BC?  Commitment is when you want something and it is how you react when it is not working out.  Read that again…

Commitment is when you want something and it is how you react when it is not working out. 

That is why some become Directors and some do not.  Or some stay Consultants and some do not!  Their commitment level! 

 

For example– I have heard issues with booking a spa for 16 years.  I hear things like:

No one will book with me!  I can’t get any bookings.. not even my family will book for me!  and many more issues with bookings.  But I feel BC is the dream career!  We love to do what we do!  The pros so out-way the issue of booking.  If you stay focused on the end result booking issues are pale in comparison.  In fact let’s think about our rewards… what are yours?… I want to hear them!

Sit down in a quiet place for 10 min and tell me what has BC done for you… email me by Wednesday the 20th at midnight and I will put you in a drawing for gifts!  Directors, you too!  Not sure what yet but I never let you down in that department…  so go for it!

Then if it is bookings that you do not like to do.. just know that I understand that!  I know!!!!  I feel your pain  BUT are you committed?!  Then you will get those bookings!! I have no doubt!  Everyone does!!!  If they are committed.

Then guess what?  You better be ok with the fact that in BC  bookings are something you will always be looking to do.  That is our “not-the-most-fun” thing to do, sometimes, look for bookings can be hard.  But all dream careers have to have something that is not the “most fun” thing to do or we would do BC 24/7!!  We love our careers so much now…  we can barely quit thinking about it, right!?  But having something that is a bit hard to do is good it keeps us balanced!

EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2008  

NEW OFFICE POLICY

Dress Code:

1) You are advised to come to work dressed according to your salary.

2) If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we will assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a raise.

3) If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise.

4) If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.

Sick Days:
We will no longer accept a doctor’s statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Personal Days:
Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturdays & Sundays.  

 
Bathroom Breaks:
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet
paper roll will retract, the stall door will open, and a picture will be taken. After your second offense, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the
‘Chronic Offenders’ category. Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sectioned under the company’s mental health policy.

 
Lunch Break: (Love this one)

* Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy.

* Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure.

* Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that’s all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.

Hello wonderful Consultants on our teams!!

Just feeling very happy today!  What a beautiful day!  In Maquoketa IA!

The sun is shining and it is not too hot! 

I am typing you a note then I am going to go outside and play in my yard!  I got a email from Cynthia, who is a DIQ and her husband surprised her and is home today and she is playing today too! 

I just wanted to remind you that if you do BC as a full time job it really is amazing!  You get to chose when you will play!  I know some of you have it in your plan to be able to do BC full time.. but I just want to keep that dream alive for you!

 

Last week I got home from Celebration on Tuesday.   I like to stay an extra day so I can debrief on all the info with other Directors that want to do that too! It is so relaxing! On Sunday, when everyone else is trying to check out of the hotel then run to their meeting.. then sit at the meeting and watch their watch so they do not miss their flight because the HAVE to be at work the next day…. We do not have to do that!  It is nice!

Then in Wednesday I was able to asphalt (drive a new very big and hard to drive dump truck!) with my family!  Hunter and I drive back and forth to the asphalt plant picking up mix and talking!! As I did that with him I thought, “WOW!  this time with him is priceless!!!!”  Then that night came home and did a meeting for my team…  I just want you to remember this life I am living is doable for you too!

I totally have a full time job in the asphalt world!  But I do my BC too!  Yet if I want to go outside and play today I will!  BUT I worked hard to get here. I have done 8 to 12 spas consistent for 5 years.   You have to work hard to get where you want to go but just a reminder today that you can do this too!

 

This month my Mom is going to have a bit of surgery.. I will be able to be right with her for several days!  With no pressure from a job that I really should be at!   

Work your business hard too, right now!  While you can get a cruise for your hard work!  And some day you will have the income you need to be able to do BC as your fun and wonderful Career!

Off to feed the horses their corn!
