Build Your Hostess Packet

This is our Build a Hostess Packet:

  1. Hostess Letter – The Hostess Letter gives the hostess a better idea of what is expected of her, tips to make the spa more enjoyable and relaxing, and shows her what she needs to do if she wants to receive gifts both BEFORE the spa and AT the spa.

    Here is how the SPECIAL GIFTS (that are listed on this page) work. You can use the Spa Express Minis Set (Item #12100) to be your Special Gifts. At the spa give her Minis based on which ones she earned. Track all her rewards on the Hostess Summary Sheet. One easy place to track your whole spa! Make sure you put your name and info on it before you print it!

  2. My Wish ListMy Wish List is for the hostess to use to make a list of products that she would like to receive for FREE based on the sales and bookings of her spa. This way both of you know what her goal is for the spa. Also, by totaling up the value of the products she has on the Wish List, you can tell her “Ok, so you need this much in sales if you want to receive all of these products for free.” Have the hostess send it back to your with in the 48 hours so that she gets a special gift #2 (see the Hostess Letter).

  3. Hostess Plan Smart Chart Hostess Plan Smart Chart is easy access for both you and the hostess to see what she needs in spa sales in order to make her free product goal, without having to make calculations. (Ex., if the hostess wants $60.00 worth of free products (Amount highlighted in blue on the right of each column), then based on the chart she needs to have $400.00 in sales (Amount in black on the left of each column)). This may encourage the hostess to get outside orders before the spa to make sure she reaches her goal.

  4. Spa Menu – This Set Sheet shows the guests at the spa which sets are available for purchase that night as well as the amount each set will cost, which makes their ordering a little less stressful for both you and the guest. A little bonus is that it also shows what comes in the kit for signing up! I tell the hostess, “use this set sheet to remind you of all we did at your spa.” Also use this sheet to take pre-orders. When someone wants to buy something know you cannot go wrong by suggesting anything off of this page! It is our page of “must haves”.  Spa Menu w/o Prices  Here is a copy of the Spa Menu with out the individual prices. Try using this set sheet to encourage TOTAL set selling!  

  5. Order Form for Your Hostess - This is used to take pre-orders before you even go to your spa! Make sure to type in your Name on the handout. I like to print this on both sides. As I am showing my new Hostess the Hostess Packet I say, “Ok to take pre orders you just have them fill out this info. You will notice you can take two orders on this side of the piece of paper, BUT before you take your 3rd and 4th orders make a copy of this page so you will have more forms for your 5th and 6th order.”

  6. Address Labels The Address Labels are where the hostess writes the names of the people she would like to invite to her Spa Escape. After they are filled out, the hostess mails them back to you within 48 hours along with her wish list for Special Gift #2, you make a copy of them so you know who is invited before you and then use the labels to attach to the postcard invitation when you mail them out.

    Tip: Rather than handwriting all of your invites out on the post cards, you can also use labels and set them up with all the info for the SPA, date, time, hostess name, rsvp and phone #. Then just put them on the post card. It saves tons of time writing out each card.

  7. To make the Labels go to Wal-Mart and get self-sticking address labels. I use 1 by 2 5/8, 30 per page. Click here to print off a label sheet. You can print these on plain paper then run them through your copy machine to the sticky address or print the file onto the sticky labels and then they are ready went the hostess sends them back to you. If you just do it on plain paper you do not have to run to Wall-mart right now if you need to make a packet.

    Tip: If the Hostess does not get the labels back to you by your deadline, then you call them (even if it is just a call where you leave a message on the machine) and say, "Hi, Sally, I do not have your labels, and because this is my business I need to make sure I have a spa that night. SO if I do not hear from you by ______ , I will have to remove you from my spa calendar." Then do take them off of your calendar if they do not call, so you can book another person that night! Also, when you take the time to send out the labels your spas will be 90% more likely to hold!

  8. Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope – The Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope is for the hostess to mail her invite labels and wish list back to you at no expense to her. Postage is going up again, so you might want to buy a bunch of the "Forever Stamps" to use on the envelopes. Then you don't have to worry about postage changes when you get the envelopes back from hostesses who e-mailed instead!

  9. One Product brochure - These will come in your kit (Item Number 14629). Write your name, number and BeautiPage address on the back of it! When they ask for more brochures you can say, “go to my web site and you can see the on line product brochure!!” It is like you have unlimited brochures when you send them to your web site.

  10. Business Cards (4 to 6 cards) – The hostess uses the business cards to hand out to people who are interested in the products so they can get to the web site. If you had out a bunch of product brochures then they lose them or leave them at home. It just works so good to your web site to look at all your products!

    Do this area below as you have the supplies:

    We like to help the Hostess have a great spa and so we give her the tools to help her. When you give her some samples she can share with others then her pre order sales go up! This next step is not a must do and you might not have the supplies yet but you might want to order them when you can and start it!

    • Choice #1: Get from Wal-mart or a craft store, little zip locks baggies from the craft department. They are in the bead dept. The size is like 2" by 2" or 2" by 3". Not a big deal on the size, just smaller ones. Then get our Spa Bath Minerals (on our Order Form, under the section called Spa Collection # number 7886) and put in 2 teaspoons per baggie. It will make 39 to 40 baggies. I used to put less than that in the baggie but I want the Hostess to take a bath and if you do not use enough it will not be as lovely as it should be!  I put two baggies in the bag. One for her to use and one for her to let others smell and she can tell how her skin felt! Easy sell! 
    • Choice #2: I like to buy the Show of Hand Sample Cards from the order form #13339. They cost 50 cents a card. I put two in the packet and when I am going over the Hostess Packet with the Hostess I say, “This is a way for you to get outside orders.” I show the Sample Card and say, “I take this and demo it to two or three people. When they try it, they love it! They will buy it! Show of Hands is our number one selling Product in BC! When you sell 4 you will have over $100 in sales for your Spa!”
    • Choice #3: Order purse size Extreme Repair (Item #2921). Once again, just tell her to share and she will sell!  Earning her more free products!
    • Choice #4: Put samples like Time to Go Eye Capsules #12728 and Cell Block C Intensive Multivitamin Face Serum #14038 and put two in little bags and staple them to the product guide.
