Thanks Tricia for sharing your story!   Tricia moved with her family to Delaware and is in the process of establishing her business.  Sounds like you are off to a great start Tricia!

Friday evening and Saturday I participated in a Christmas Bazaar at a local Catholic Church.  (It was the event that I learned about from asking a mom for referals when I was at a birthday party for one of Avery’s summer camp friends.  She got my email from the Birthday Boy’s mom the next day and sent me the info on the bazaar.)
Well, let’s just say that I went shopping at GAP Friday morning since I was packed and ready… spent a LITTLE bit TOO MUCH money, but was feeling really good from my retail therapy!  So, I was determined to at least make back that $168 at the event.  Low and Behold, I made that back and MORE!!!!!

I am now friends with every 4 through 8th grade girl and even some of the boys at the school.  They recruited their moms, aunts, and grandmothers and became my best “hostesses” seeking out others.  Friday night brought in $322 and by 1pm on Saturday, I was sold out of Instant Manicures and Extreme Repair, but I kept on demo-ing and taking orders….  by 3pm on Saturday when the event ended, I had collected $832! And have a SPA on Dec. 12, Jan. 22, along with 6 other women who gave me their name/number/address to call this week to coordinate a January spa!!!!!!!!  I priced the Show of Hands at $20 and gave a FREE gift with purchase of the 1 oz extreme repair hand creme.  It was so easy for them to reach in their pocket and pull out those 20 dollar bills… and it was so much fun to count those twenties when we got home!!!!!!

Mitch and Avery were there with me for the event helping keep the water filled and buckets emptied!  At lunch time on Saturday, Mitch commented that of everyone that I had try the Instant Manicure, only 7 did not buy.  Since we had not yet decided with parish to join here, this helped to make up our mind.  We will be joining the church with the “softest hands” in the area this next week!!!!

I am still amazed at how it turned out… there were only 31 vendors there, we were in the school gym, and it only cost me $25 to participate.  It was so amazing simple and I even had three women come back the second day after inquiring about products on Friday night.  Other than the hand treatment, and Sugar Cookie products, I sold a 40s moisturizer, Microderm Abrasion, and one wet/dry (to those ladies who came back).

I can only wait to see how the “santa shop” I am participating in with Avery’s school will turn out on December 10th.

I LOVE BEAUTICONTROL!!!!!!
